Cambridge Man Builds Huge Snow Castle In Frontyard

A Cambridge resident has transformed their front yard into a detailed snow structure following a heavy snowfall.

The local artist, who has chosen to remain anonymous, says the idea began years ago after a particularly intense winter made snow piles too large to ignore. What started as a way to earn money by shovelling has since become a seasonal tradition of sculpting large-scale snow structures.
This winter’s creation marks the third attempt of the season. Previous builds melted before completion, but this version has held up through freezing temperatures.
Visitors have stopped by to admire the intricate design, with some expressing disbelief that the structure is made entirely of snow. The artist estimates spending several hours a day on the build, shaping up to 12 snow blocks daily.
Children in the neighbourhood have been seen climbing and playing on the snow-packed structure, which stands as a temporary winter attraction in the city’s east end.
The city has not commented on the installation, but residents continue to visit and share photos of what some are calling a “snow castle.”
